FOR YOUTH INQUIRY PRESENTS
THIS BOAT CALLED MY BODY
THURSDAY MAY 31st - SUNDAY JUNE 17th
Palmisano Park (2700 S Halsted St)
Centering on stories of young people in Illinois who have terminated pregnancies, THIS BOAT CALLED MY BODY seats audiences in the metaphor for the islands that youth have to visit to get unfettered access to abortion. Through spectacle, dance, opera, and interaction with water, THIS BOAT CALLED MY BODY asks us to better understand what reproductive access looks like for all.
The play is being performed in partnership with the Chicago Parks District outside at Palmisano Park. Please dress for the weather.
